My dad was very hesitant about making this step on his life. The whole team at IoP was welcoming, patient, and kind. They met my dad where he was and gave him the time to process his decision. No pressure, no tactics. Simply honest care and empathy from our first visit and everyday. The residents are all kind and seem happy to be there. Good food and good activities. My dad is a classic *grumpy old man* and he said if he can't live at home this is the next best place. I want to personally mention Vonda, Colleen, and Monica for all of their time and effort to get dad settled and happy. I knew this was the right place for dad, but they made sure he feels that way too! 6 stars!
My Mom has been here for a year now and we are so happy with the choice we made for her… Every time I walk through the door it’s Clean and bright and shows they care about the surroundings.. Mom has been well cared for and they have anticipated her needs and always have her well being first and foremost.. Colleen, Monica, David, Jamie, Lola, and I really wish I could name every one but really care about every one there.. there’s so much more I have noticed everyone looks healthy and clean and always dressed for the day… Great activities if you want but are definitely encouraged.. my sister and I can relax knowing she’s getting the best care..
the staff here at Inspirations are really awesome and so are the residents. I have walked through the courtyard numerous times and I have noticed that the sidewalk that goes from the cafe to the pavilion has not been swept and I don't think the chairs that have cushions on them have ever been cleaned or vacuumed. And the food is really delicious too and especially for all three meals. And the fans in the dining room can they be kept on through meal time instead of turning them off each time we go into the dining room for meals.
I have been here for eight and 1/2 months and have made it my home. The residents are all very friendly and have welcomed me to be an active part of their community which I have become. The staff and health providers are excellent medical professionals with warm hearts and understanding personalities. The food is excellent and our chef, Derek, has regular meetings with us to listen to us for comments and suggestions so that we can enjoy our meals and satisfy our various palettes. Collen our resident manager and her staff conducts routine meetings to insure that the word gets out and listens to our issues with understanding and compassion. Activities are well planned and include: field and shopping trips in our van-bus. The weekly events on site include: mental and physical exercises, bible study, fun games and events that the whole community can participate in. While we all get older here with our physical and mental issues we are doing it with grace and in community. Now you can see and understand why I now call Inspirations of Peoria my home.
My mother recently moved to inspirations of Peoria. It has been such a wonderful transition for her. The staff are one of the most caring and attentive staff. I have seen while touring many facilities to help find the best fit for my mom. There are wonderful activities, wonderful people, and it’s so comforting to know that my mom is in good hands. So grateful! 10 out of 10 would recommend to other families.
