We recently experienced an 18-month stay and relationship with Silverado Sierra Vista, and I continue to be impressed with their exceptional approach to dementia care. From the moment we entered, I could feel the warmth and compassion that fills this wonderful facility. The staff at Silverado Sierra Vista are not only highly qualified but genuinely caring, ensuring that every resident receives the utmost respect, dignity, and personalized attention. Their world-class approach to dementia care is evident in every aspect of their service, creating a nurturing and supportive environment for both residents and their families. The motto of Silverado is “Love is greater than fear”. The personal relationships developed between the staff, my loved one, and our family have been deeply valued, providing reassurance and a sense of family. Our lives, and most importantly, my loved one's life, were transformed by the competent oversight of the qualified nursing staff and attending physician. They adeptly recommended a medication change that resulted in a significant and positive change in her behavior, attitude, and quality of life. The facility itself is beautifully maintained and designed to provide a safe and comfortable home for all who reside there. I wholeheartedly recommend Silverado Sierra Vista to anyone seeking the best in dementia care for their loved ones.

I cannot say enough GREAT things about this facility. The staff is WONDERFUL and caring, not just to the residents but to their family as well. My father-in-law was a resident until his passing recently. While he was alive, he would have some terrible moments of "sundowners" and was hard to be around. One particular evening when he was a little hard to take, I ended up crying in the hallway. One of the staff came up to me, asked if I was ok and if I needed a hug. That one moment told me we'd picked the right place for my husband's father. Then, as I was leaving and saying good-bye to the Officer Manager and Family Ambassador, they too listened to me as I described my father-in-law's behavior and how this staff member had helped me. Their compassion to the situation was amazing. Far above and beyond what other family members in other facilities have received. (If I could go back in time and place those members in THIS facility, I would!) Oh, and the individual that gave me a hug, he wasn't part of the medical staff, he is a member of housekeeping! THAT is how much EVERY single employee there cares about the residents and their family! Am going to miss seeing/talking with them, every bit as much as I'm going to miss my father-in-law. God Bless every one of you who work at the Sierra Vista site of Silverado Memory Care, you ALL made a difficult period of our lives a lot easier.

I visited about 12 memory care facilities before selecting the Silverado Sierra Vista for my husband’s care. I have never regretted that decision. Yes, there have been a few “hiccups,” but they’ve quickly been resolved. It is a caring, family-oriented facility. I am grateful on a daily basis for the care my husband receives.

Silverado Sierra Vista is a one-of-a-kind memory care that surpasses all the rest. The grounds are beautiful, and the staff is loving, kind, and attentive. There is no room for boredom as the residents are actively engaged in many types of enriching activities during the day. Silverado Sierra Vista has my #1 recommendation.
