Ivy Park at Burbank

Ivy Park at Burbank offers a vibrant senior living community with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The community provides a variety of options, including assisted living and memory care, designed to support residents' independence and well-being. Many residents and their families praise the community for its cleanliness, caring staff, and engaging activities. The staff, such as Michael, Olivia, and Vanita, are often described as kind, helpful, and attentive. Residents enjoy outdoor spaces and well-organized activities that promote a carefree lifestyle.

However, some reviews mention issues with staffing and management. A few residents feel that the staff can be unresponsive or even dismissive, with complaints about poor care or neglect. There are reports of staff being rude or not answering calls, and some residents express feeling discriminated against or ignored. One reviewer shared concerns about inconsistent treatment and difficulty getting support from management.

Overall, Ivy Park has many positive features like beautiful facilities, personalized care, and engaging activities, which make it a popular choice for families. But there are also challenges with staffing and management that potential residents should consider. The community seems focused on creating a lively, welcoming environment, but it’s important for prospective residents and families to carefully evaluate the quality of care and communication.

Ivy Park at Burbank is an awesome community with a great vibe. I recently toured a family there and they absolutely loved it. Several residents came up, unsolicited, raving to us about their home. It’s a great option for families looking for a studio, or a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment in assisted living or memory care.

Ana, Nancy and britney are so rude. they do not care for the patients. They have no maners or know how to provide patient care. i will be taking my family member out of here. nancy and britney are always together yet they do not answer their radio and they make sure to tell new staff to not “spoil” the residents. Basic care is not spoiling but no one is watching them. Be careful when bringing your loved one here, if you care about them do not leave them here!!

I am a resident of this facility and of late it's been somewhat difficult living here. It's short of staff and management is unsympathetic to my needs, such as needing to go to the doctor for an emergency and being denied. Then finding out another resident was allowed to go to a doctor's appointment on an off day. This place is all about getting more money out of you and without any thing in return. The lastest disappointment is being told I was signed up for an activity a day before it was to take place and then at the last minute it was given to another favorite member of the community. How can one plan for anything when being lied to on a regular basis. I feel I'm being discriminated against and I have expressed this to management and I also have tried to get ahold of the supervisor of this facility to try and get some support. Supervisor is unavailable and won't return my phone calls. I want to continue to live here but it's difficult

We chose The Heights for our mom and couldn't be more pleased with our choice. The Heights by far is the cleanest and most caring of the facilities that we have visited. Michael helped us pick out the perfect room for our mom. He went over all of the activities and services that were available to her in the price of the room. Nurse Olivia has always addressed our concerns and helped us when an issue arises. She is caring and truly listens. Last but not least there is Vanita. Vanita is the front desk receptionist who always greets us with a smile and knows us by name. Plus the countless others that help our mom with so much patience and kindness. Thank you to The Heights for hiring such a wonderful team of people that help our mom and the rest of the elderly on a daily basis.
