Lakewood Park Manor has location. Across from two malls, everything is just a block away. A third mall is just down the street. Restaurants and fast food everywhere. I came here a while back after a long stay in a nursing home due to complications from throat cancer surgery. I lost my home, and was offered this assisted living facility. I was blessed to have come at a time when single occupancy rooms were available. I am treated well, with respect, dignity, and kindness. Everything I need is provided. Healthy delicious meals, housekeeping, medicine, laundry, and experienced care from excellent caregivers. There are recreational activities, as well as special holiday meals and events. I have made a good life since I have been here. I am treated well, and all the assistance I need to live a healthy, happy life is provided. Thank you Lakewood Park Manor for all you have done, and continue to do to make me a happy camper. ✌
My mom has been in Lakewood Park Manor for a month. We have found her to be happy. She is making new friends. She is putting on weight. She looks better because she loves the food and eats more than she has in years! She is taking her medicine on a regular basis, which has also helped her to feel better. The staff is kind. My mother loves talking to them. I have visited many care facilities. I have never been in one that is as clean and orderly as this place. I recommend it to anyone who needs a safe, clean, happy environment for their loved ones.
Lakewood Park Manor was the only Senior Living Community that my family and mother toured. She expressed to us after our visit that this was the place was where she wanted to move to when she was ready. We looked no further. Well, ready came a couple years later when our mother finally got tired of the responsibilities of owning a home and desired more socialization. The wonderful staff and residents at Lakewood Park made our mother's transition to the community a very pleasant experience. I would highly suggest that if you are looking for a senior living community for yourself or a loved one, you visit Lakewood Park Manor. You will not be disappointed.
Lakewood Park Manor was wonderful. The staff communicates well, know their resident, and make families feel comfortable and included. Anyone who visited my mom at your nursing home comment on how friendly and caring everyone was
My mother had a fall last year and her recovery was definitely difficult and made it frankly impossible for us take care of her full-time. She ended up having to go Lakewood Park Manor in Downey CA because it just made more sense to have her in a well respected convalescent home rather than having untrained family members trying take care of her properly. She liked it so much she has already decided that she wants to move back in a few years if her mobility stars to to deteriorate again. Thank you so much to everyone who is treat her so well.
