Glen Park at Glendale-Boynton

My mom has been a resident at Glen Park Boynton for the past 7 months. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff, environment, and the care provided. Not only is the facility warm and inviting (truly more like a home than a facility), beautifully decorated and clean, but when you enter, you are immediately greeted with a welcoming smile by those at the front desk, such as Vanessa, Amy, and Dora. The next thing you’ll notice as you walk down the hall with your loved one is how often you are warmly greeted by staff members you pass in the hallway. Although there are so many wonderfully kind and caring staff members (too many to count), I have to give a special shout out to Daysy, the Activities Director and her team. Not only are the activities incredibly creative and fun, but even more importantly, Daysy brings such amazing enthusiasm, energy, and compassion to her role. She also engages with all the residents she encounters and gently encourages them to participate in the activities. She laughs, plays and just makes you happy when you’re around her. I have seen my Mom blossom since she has been at Glen Park. Adam, the Life Enrichment Specialist, regularly takes photos during the activities and sends them to the family. When I receive these photos and see my Mom laughing and smiling, I am blown away by how she has come to life in spite of grieving the loss of my Dad 10 months ago after 66 years of marriage. Although I knew the time had come, I had been resistant to putting Mom in memory care because I was so worried that she would be miserable and would even deteriorate. Susan Park, the executive Director, compassionately and skillfully guided me through the whole process and helped me to know that I was making the right decision. She also helped Mom so much when she was first admitted by calmly and compassionately easing her fears and helping her adjust. There is so much more I could say and so many more staff members I could point out who have gone above and beyond to make my Mom feel welcome, but let me just say to the entire Glen Park family that I feel so incredibly grateful to have found a home for my Mom where she and the other residents are not treated as patients, but instead as family.

Very clean. Very attentive to residents needs and managing dementia. As a registrrrdd nurse, I am careful who I recommend because I have a very high standard of how I feel patients should be treated. This place really cares for their residents.

I want to thank Brigitte Winslow for helping us to find such a nice place for our older family member. She explained everything clearly and made the process easy with her friendly and positive attitude. We really appreciate your help!

Glen Parks staff is amazing, kind, and compassionate. If you or a loved one is looking for a place to call home…Glen Park is a great choice and the food is great!

I visited recently and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The building appears to have been renovated with new paint and flooring, so everything looked fresh and bright inside. The food was good too!
