Huntington Terrace

I recently toured Huntington Terrace as a place for my mother and mother in law to move to. I was delighted by everything the facility had to offer. It was warm, inviting, the staff and residents were extremely friendly and they had many activities to offer the residents. I was happy with the studio and one bedrooms I was shown and plan to move my mothers there May 1st. Susan Peterson was my contact person, and she was absolutely amazing and answered all my questions. Every time I have called since my tour she has been available and happy to assist me.

When I was looking for a place for my mother, I spoke with Stephen Rodriguez and he eased all of my apprehensions about assisted living. He was very thorough and answered all of my questions and concerns. It’s hard deciding to put a parent into assisted living but Stephen and this place made it easy. My mother is thriving here, making new friends, joining activities and going on the field trips. The food is really good and everyone is very nice and treats my mother very well. Stephen took the time and took us on a tour and explained all of the amenities and the pricing so there were no surprises. I visit a lot and leave knowing my mother is enjoying life and is in a safe place being well cared for.

Stephen was a wonderful guide to help us navigate the options for my mom and dad at a very difficult time. We loved the facility and the many offerings they had. Beyond that, we loved Stephen. He put his heart on his sleeve and told us about his experience with his own Dad. Ultimately my Dad graduated to heaven and Mom snapped back to life but I am so grateful to know we have an option if we need a wonderful place for Mom down the road. Thank you for helping our family through a scary time with your grace and kindness, Stephen. God put you in our life at the perfect time. Blessings!

When we were looking for an assisted living facility for my MIL, Huntington Terrace was the first one we toured and it definitely set the bar when touring other places. The immediate welcoming and hospitableness of Huntington Terrace was felt by all the staff we met and the warm feel of the environment was created by the sense of genuine community there. Needless to say, none of the other facilities we later toured measured up and we knew that my MIL’s new home was at Huntington Terrace. Aside from the comfortable and friendly feel, some of the things that helped make the decision an easy one was the amenities and services available, the pack filled calendar of activities and the attention given to the residents. Would like to give a big “thank you” to Susan Peterson who was wonderful to work with and who helped make my MIL’s transition to assisted living a smooth and pleasant experience. We know this is the place my MIL will totally enjoy and thrive in and we couldn’t recommend Huntington Terrace enough.

After touring 15 similar facilities, my father chose Huntington Terrace after three visits—actually, he knew it was "the one" after the first! As a foodie, he is very pleased with the food! What truly stood out to me, after seeing so many places, was the atmosphere—the energy of the staff, the residents, and the environment spoke volumes. We worked closely with Susan Peterson, the Director of Sales, and she was fantastic. Her positive energy was contagious, and every time I visited, I noticed how engaged and happy the residents were. I was particularly impressed by the Bistro and the packed calendar of daily events. Whether it was watching a movie or participating in activities, the residents were always engaged, especially in the Grand Parlor. My dad, who used to live alone, now has a community to socialize with whenever he wants. He’s truly thriving at Huntington Terrace, and I couldn’t be happier with his decision.
