Huntington Terrace

To start off, the community at Huntington Terrace is very clean both inside and outside of the building. They have friendly, warmhearted staff members with an infectious energy that you can feel throughout the community and residents. They also have a broad range of different activities that anyone and everyone can enjoy which I really appreciate! They care deeply for their residents and it shows just by walking through the front door. This community has something for everyone a long with great quality of care. I would highly recommend any of my family members or friends to Huntington Terrace.

I had the pleasure of working at Huntington Terrace for 6 months as a caregiver. Martha was an incredible supervisor — supportive, approachable, and truly dedicated to both her staff and the residents. She created a positive work environment where I felt valued and empowered to do my best every day. Her leadership made a tough job so much more rewarding. Anyone would be lucky to work under someone like her!

I have toured too many places to name. My dad has stayed at a competing facility and a boutique family owned home. The competing facility lasted 1 day before he got urinary tract infection and the boutique home is like a babysitting place with no activities or procedures in place. I spoke to Susan multiple times and she is always friendly and helpful. Huntington was always number 2 in the selection process due to pricing. Finally due to a friend's high recommendation, we decided to move my dad in. My dad has been at Huntington for 2.5 months and he has progressed significantly. He can swallow again and truly enjoys the people and activities. It is all about the employees. The staff is very caring and pays attention to the residents. Like everything in life, you get what you pay for!!

I recently toured Huntington Terrace as a place for my mother and mother in law to move to. I was delighted by everything the facility had to offer. It was warm, inviting, the staff and residents were extremely friendly and they had many activities to offer the residents. I was happy with the studio and one bedrooms I was shown and plan to move my mothers there May 1st. Susan Peterson was my contact person, and she was absolutely amazing and answered all my questions. Every time I have called since my tour she has been available and happy to assist me.

When I was looking for a place for my mother, I spoke with Stephen Rodriguez and he eased all of my apprehensions about assisted living. He was very thorough and answered all of my questions and concerns. It’s hard deciding to put a parent into assisted living but Stephen and this place made it easy. My mother is thriving here, making new friends, joining activities and going on the field trips. The food is really good and everyone is very nice and treats my mother very well. Stephen took the time and took us on a tour and explained all of the amenities and the pricing so there were no surprises. I visit a lot and leave knowing my mother is enjoying life and is in a safe place being well cared for.
