Huntington Terrace

When we were looking for an assisted living community for my parents in Huntington Beach, we kept hearing great things about Huntington Terrace and I now know why. From the moment we first reached out and had the pleasure of talking with Susan, the place has felt like home. We looked at a few different communities in Southern California and Huntington Terrace was hands down the most vibrant. The leadership, the staff, and the care team are just top notch. Each team member I've met has been very competent, professional, hard working, and most of all, they truly care and take pride in their community. This energy is felt in the residents as well. Every time I go there and visit, there is a lightness and cheerfulness that is truly contagious. On a more practical note, they went out of their way to provide a temporary suite for my parents to live in while waiting for their 1 BR apartment to become available. This was a huge relief during a stressful transition. On top of this, compared with other options in the area, Huntington Terrace is quite reasonably priced. I cannot recommend Huntington Terrace enough.

Amazing caring staff, well run, good food and lots of activities for the family to join in on when visiting. Facility is run by a great management team. My mother, who was 101 when she moved in, absolutely loved living there and made a lot of friends with neighbors and the staff. Unfortunately, she passed 15 days shy of her 103rd birthday recently and my wife and I miss visiting her there, as well as the bingo games 3 days a week. Well done Huntington Terrace and thank you for everything.

I am truly grateful for the care and compassion provided at Huntington Terrace. The caretakers are kind, patient, and genuinely invested in the well-being of the residents. The community is clean and cheerful and it is encouraging to see people out of their rooms, participating in activities, and engaging with one another. The positive energy throughout the community is truly noticeable. I want to thank Susan for her support, kindness and efficiency with the move in process. The time, energy and dedication she put into answering all our questions and calming all our concerns really helped in our decision to move forward. She is a gem! And after my mother being there for 4 months, I am confident and at ease knowing my mother is in such capable and caring hands. Huntington Terrace is a place I would highly recommend to families looking for a supportive, well-managed, and compassionate assisted living community.

My 94-year-old mom has been in Huntington Terrace for two months and th difference has been remarkable. After struggling with loneliness and depression in her previous assisted living community, we were worried about her physical and emotional well being. After coming to Huntington Terrace, she has truly come alive again. The personalized care she receives makes all the difference. The staff is genuinely kind, patient, and caring. The other residents have been friendly and welcoming. We can see a real improvement in her outlook and overall well-being.

I recently did a tour of Huntington Terrace with Susan Peterson. Wow, I was absolutely blown away! This place had the most positive vibe and energy. The rooms were great size and very clean. Nice hardwood floors and amenities. They have a heated pool and many activities throughout the day. Susan gave us the most amazing tour and answered all our questions on Huntington Terrace. We spoke to several staff members and they were all friendly and hospitable. I definitely recommend Huntington Terrace to anyone considering assisted living for their loved ones. It’s a great community that feels like home. They’ll be in great care with plenty to do throughout the day!
