Huntington Terrace

I recently did a tour of Huntington Terrace with Susan Peterson. Wow, I was absolutely blown away! This place had the most positive vibe and energy. The rooms were great size and very clean. Nice hardwood floors and amenities. They have a heated pool and many activities throughout the day. Susan gave us the most amazing tour and answered all our questions on Huntington Terrace. We spoke to several staff members and they were all friendly and hospitable. I definitely recommend Huntington Terrace to anyone considering assisted living for their loved ones. It’s a great community that feels like home. They’ll be in great care with plenty to do throughout the day!

I am truly grateful for the care and compassion provided at Huntington Terrace. The caretakers are kind, patient, and genuinely invested in the well-being of the residents. The community is clean and cheerful and it is encouraging to see people out of their rooms, participating in activities, and engaging with one another. The positive energy throughout the community is truly noticeable. I want to thank Susan for her support, kindness and efficiency with the move in process. The time, energy and dedication she put into answering all our questions and calming all our concerns really helped in our decision to move forward. She is a gem! And after my mother being there for 4 months, I am confident and at ease knowing my mother is in such capable and caring hands. Huntington Terrace is a place I would highly recommend to families looking for a supportive, well-managed, and compassionate assisted living community.

My mom moved into Huntington Terrace recently, and I cannot express how grateful I am for the facility and its amazing staff. The moment she arrived, she felt completely at home. The entire team was incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional, which made what could have been a difficult transition seamless and stress-free for both of us. The care and atmosphere are exceptional. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to ensure residents are comfortable and happy. She frequently compliments the dining room, mentioning how wonderful the food is—each meal is delicious and served with care. It's truly a place that treats its residents like family. Huntington Terrace Assisted Living Senior Residence Community has truly been a blessing in disguise for not only my father but myself. To find Huntington Terrace located in the city of Huntington Beach, CA I spoke to a representative from "A Place For Mom" and the representative directed me to two different facilities in which Huntington Terrace was one of them. From the very first conversation that I had with Susan Peterson (who is very personable, kind and warm) I knew this would be a place my dad could call home. Once touring the two different facilities provided to me for Senior Living, I fell in love with Huntington Terrace. Upon my first visit, the front lobby area was filled with a lively and positive upbeat vibe, and I knew right then that this would be just the right place for my father. I cannot begin to explain how helpful and polite ALL the staff has been to not only my father but to me as well. Since his move in on December 23, 2024, I have experienced and observed the staff consistently going far beyond the norm to assist and accommodate both the residents and their family members. This place is a wonderful hidden gem, and I look forward to being a part of the Huntington Terrace family so that my dad can live comfortably for the rest of his days.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with Huntington Terrace Assisted Living. As a hospice nurse doing rounds weekly at Huntington Terrace, I noticed the staff here are truly professional, especially the med techs and caregivers who are always welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive to the needs of their residents. The facility is clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully maintained. I’m particularly impressed with the Casita area — it’s beautiful and creates a warm, home-like environment. They also offer a wide variety of activities for residents, helping them stay engaged and socially active. Plus, their transportation services make it easy for residents to get to appointments and other places they need to go, which is incredibly helpful for families. As a hospice nurse, I'm always happy to work with their team - Martha, Edwin, Monique, Tez, etc. Their dedication and genuine care make a meaningful difference. Apex Hospice looks forward to continuing to build a strong relationship with Huntington Terrace and supporting the excellent care they provide to the community. Highly recommended!
