I think Sunrise of La Palma is a great option for our seniors. I had the pleasure of volunteering to play music for a special event recently and found the staff and residents to be fun and inviting. One of the residents, a musician played along with his drum sticks on the seat of his walker. I thought it was both charming and impressive. I enjoyed my experience and look forward to volunteering there again soon.
The facility is beautiful! It’s like a mini resort! The staff is extremely friendly to us as family members and very caring and attentive to our mom. The management also does a good job of listening to our requests and makes sure that our mom is well taken care of.
Both of my parents are at Sunrise La Palma. It is a very caring place and they treat my parent very well!! When a concern arises, they address it and fix the situation. The contact me if any situation arises with my folks. The staff are very friendly and seem to sincerely care about my parent and all of the residents!! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to have their parents.
I moved my dad into Sunrise in June 2020, right in the middle of COVID. He has dementia and kept getting out of our house so I needed a secure location for him. Sunrise was amazingly competent during COVID and they have taken very good care of my dad. I would definitely recommend this community to anyone looking for a caring, positive and safe place for your loved one.
My mom is in there memory care unit. The staff is pretty good. New staff members did hurt my mom without an explanation.
