Ivy Park at Laguna Woods

Our parents have lived at Ivy Park at Laguna Woods for about eight years, and we could not be more grateful for this community. The facilities are beautiful—light, airy, and well maintained—but what truly sets Ivy Park apart is the people. The community is genuinely warm and welcoming, and there is an impressive range of activities with something for everyone: bingo, movie nights, flower arranging, art and exercise classes, happy hours with live music, and more. Jonathan, the activities director, is endlessly creative and fun and brings so much energy to the residents. The dining experience has also been elevated under Chef Brandon, and it shows in both quality and care. The med techs are exceptionally kind and patient—Teresa, in particular, has been incredibly attentive and thoughtful, especially keeping a close eye on my mom after my dad passed this year. At the front desk, Laurie and Fatima are always welcoming, patient, and kind. Nelson, who drives the Ivy Park shuttle and car, is consistently caring and attentive to residents. When my father passed this past year, the entire staff went above and beyond to support our family. They helped us plan and hold his celebration of life in the pavilion, and it was a truly beautiful event. We briefly considered moving my mom, but she loves Ivy Park and cannot imagine being anywhere else. Zehra, the director, is fabulous, and she has built an equally wonderful team. Everyone here goes the extra mile to make Ivy Park feel like family.

This Ivy Park community is a hidden gem! What really impressed us while touring, was how happy the residents were. After moving mom here, she became one of these happy residents as well. Meeting new friends, cared for by an amazing staff, and yet enjoying independent living. The new executive director, Zehra, is very much involved in all aspects…and that’s appreciated by us family members! You should consider this community for your aging loved ones!

I can’t speak highly enough about Ivy Park Senior Assisted Living. From the moment we walked in, we felt a true sense of warmth, care, and professionalism. The community is beautiful, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed to support both comfort and quality of life for its residents. A special thank you to Tricia, the Marketing Director , who is always absolutely exceptional. Her kindness, patience, and genuine care made a lasting impression to everyone , answered every question with clarity and compassion, and guided us through the entire process seamlessly. Tricia truly goes above and beyond — she’s not just great at her job, she’s a heartfelt advocate for the families and residents she supports. Thank you, Ivy Park, for creating such a wonderful environment, and thank you, Tricia, for being such a bright light in this journey.

Chef Brandon is so great! He's easy to work with and always has a positive attitude. He can be very creative, and I enjoy working with him to find new items that we carry to use in his dishes for the residents. I would give Chef Brandon and his team at Ivy Park Laguna Woods 10 stars!

Ivy Park was a perfect fit for my parents. The staff were friendly, caring and patient and developed bonds with my parents. Laurie at the front desk is great, she is always friendly and goes the extra mile to ensure the residents and their guests feel comfortable and valued. The facility is clean and tastefully decorated. There are plenty of engaging activities that keep everyone active and socially connected. I felt reassured knowing my parents were in a safe, friendly environment that promotes both independence and community. Highly recommended for families seeking a positive, supportive space for their loved ones!
