Ivy Park of Wellington is a senior community that offers assisted living and memory care services. It has a variety of amenities, including outdoor spaces and dining options like the Vine restaurant, to help residents enjoy an active and comfortable lifestyle. The community emphasizes personalized care, aiming to support each resident’s independence, well-being, and happiness.
Many residents and their families speak positively about Ivy Park. Reviews highlight friendly and caring staff who try to create a warm environment. Several note that residents can bring pets, and that the community offers activities to keep residents engaged. Families feel reassured knowing their loved ones are in a safe, nurturing place with attentive staff.
However, there are also some concerns. One negative review mentions a lack of enough staff, which affects the quality of care. It describes issues like missed showers, delays in response times, lost belongings, and poor handling of medical needs. The reviewer felt that the staff was caring but overwhelmed and that management was focusing more on building improvements than staffing. This can lead to some residents not getting enough help, and families being worried about safety and communication.
Overall, Ivy Park of Wellington is seen as a warm, welcoming community with many good qualities. It can be a good choice for families seeking a caring environment, but potential residents and their families should ask detailed questions about staffing and care levels to ensure it meets their needs.

I wouldn’t recommend this place -especially if you need any extra help or Memory Care. We paid extra for 4 showers a week- rarely got 3. She fell and had a brain bleed and we were not told about the fall for a few hours. She lost 10 lbs in 1 month and they didn’t tell us. They didn’t notice. They made a med error that if my sister didn’t notice -could have been bad. They do not have enough dining room help and you have to wait forever if you eat upstairs. They do their laundry & she lost many items from this (towels, undies, tops) and we got other peoples underwear back. They sent her out for the day w no bra. In the Memory Care-They never take them outside. also in MC they are offered coke or water. No other beverages offered. The cost is also much more than advertised. Be sure to ask about add ons $$$$. The true fact is the workers are wonderful BUT there just are NOT enough of them. Our Mom was loved but they just need so much more help. There is a new owner and they are putting $$$ into the building and not into a better ratio of nurse to patient. Sad because we really wanted this to work out.
I stopped by a few weeks back to get a feel for the place since I'm trying to help my friend's Mom find a place to live. I met with Jessica and she showed me all around the place and really made me feel welcomed. She was also very upfront about what living here would be like and what it would take for a family to make the transition into senior living. Needless to say I was pretty impressed with the quality of the staff and I told my friend all about it and she said that she would be planning to take her own tour of the facility soon.
I could not be happier with Ivy Park of Wellington as my choice for assisted living. I was there for a short time, but really enjoyed my stay. Everyone there is very friendly and willing to accommodate any need. My favorite part was I was able to bring my dog and he could stay in my room with me for entire time there anyone who has a dog knows how important it is to have your best buddy with you
My siblings and I just helped my parents move into the Ivy Park of Wellington. I cannot say enough good things about the community. Staff is compassionate and is paying close attention to my parents' needs. The staff also goes out of their way to create ways for the residents to feel like they are part of a community. Everyone was so helpful to us throughout the process, and our minds are at ease knowing Mom and Dad are in a safe, caring environment. I only wished we'd encouraged them to make this move sooner. There are a ton of great amenities at the Wellington. Also, my mom has dementia, so if she needs memory care at some point, she could potentially move within the Wellington, and my Dad could stay in the apartment. That was important to us as well.
We needed to find care for our Mom in the midst of the pandemic. After visiting several communities in the area, we were very grateful to secure a spot for Mom at Ivy Park of Wellington (Las Palmas at the time). Mom's need for care increased and she was moved to Evergreen, the Memory Care area. It was difficult not being able to be with her during the lock down but the staff was very friendly, helpful, compassionate and caring and facilitated phone calls, face time and updates. As soon as we could enter the facility, we saw clearly the wonderful care being provided to Mom and all the residents. We regularly visit and can see first hand that Mom is kept safe, clean and comfortable. There are many wonderful activities provided to help Mom and the other residents stay engaged and living their best lives. The meals provided are tasty and nutritious. We are very grateful to the Directors, Monica and Brenda. They advocate for the residents and provide great leadership to the staff. We find great peace of mind that Mom is well cared for with responsiveness, warmth and respect. Ivy Park is a blessing to and a part of our family. We highly recommend Ivy Park of Wellington.
