Brookdale Loma Linda

My mom is very happy here. She is very well attended. She eats great with many menu choices and gets her apartment cleaned and laundry done weekly. She is independent, but can press the button on her neck for anything she needs and someone will come to her apartment to help her. She has the privacy of staying in her apartment when she wants to, or can join in with group activities every day of the week. She exercises with a group every morning and enjoys the companionship of the other residents. I have the luxury to come in and see her whenever I want and all of the employees are very friendly and welcoming.

OUTSTANDING! I have lived at this location for just over three years, and there is not a day that goes by that I don’t feel this has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! As with any business, the first impression generally sets the standard for how that business operates. During my initial visit to this location, I looked for certain signs that would let me know whether this was the right place for me. What I found when I entered the building was an organization with employees who greeted me as if they had known me for years. I also noticed that the residents I passed by were being treated with the same level of acceptance and appreciation. When I met a few employees throughout the building, I saw that they were smiling and socializing with each other as well as with the residents. A positive environment like that was a sign to me that this was the place I had been looking for—a place I could truly call home. When I finally decided that this was the right place for me, part of that decision came from meeting with the person in charge of the property. The person I met with was MARITZA LUJAN. I distinctly remember her entering the room where I was waiting, and she had the biggest smile while making direct eye contact. Those two qualities let me know that I had not only found the right place, but that she was also a strong leader. Her leadership helped explain why the employees I had encountered displayed those same qualities. This organization is a wonderful example of how to conduct business while creating a welcoming and positive community. Great job, everyone! —Darren Martin

I have lived at Brookdale for a year and a half. So far I have enjoyed living here with all the exceptional activities. I especially like taking care of the raised tomatoes bed out on our patio. There are also morning chair excersize activities, dances, harp entertainment as well singing. One of the most enjoyable activities is doing a monthly lunch outing. The staff makes living here a real joy.

We have my Mother in law there at Brookdale Loma Linda… she’s been there 18 months, first she was In good health, then she got ill and now she is getting good care now. Brookdale is a good facility . The faculty there is very good, very caring .

If you are anticipating to move to this place, make sure you ask alot of questions, because they don't tell you the truth until, you get there. You have to wait over an hour to get your meal, in the dinning room and than the food is cold. They charge for every different service, you request, so actually what they quote you is only your rent. Just wanted make people aware. This is not a good place for people that need extra services, way too expensive!
