Ayres Residential Care Home – Century City

The Ayres Residential Homes give a different meaning to the word "special." When we were looking for a home for my husband, I was not happy with the other establishments I toured. But when we walked into Ayres/Dunleer Home in WLA, we knew we had finally found the best place and the one he truly deserved. The limited size of only six residents is rare to find in Los Angeles. The caregivers are attentive to every detail of his well being. They are professionals.They care in the truest meaning of the word. They go the extra distance to keep my husband safe, well fed with home cooking, and the opportunity to do art work, dancing, and other activities. They even bring in live music at least once a week and have support group meetings on a regular basis. I am very grateful to have found Ayres Residential Care Homes.

My wife spent a very difficult and unhappy year in a large memory care facility in Los Angeles before moving to Ayres Residential. During that year she became increasingly withdrawn, lost her appetite, and lost more than 20 pounds. When I met the owners of Ayres, I was immediately impressed by their empathy, compassion, and understanding of the challenges facing families caring for a loved one with dementia. They helped me transition my wife to one of their small residential homes near me, and the difference has been remarkable. With experienced and caring caregivers and a warm, genuine home-like environment, she quickly became more engaged with the staff and other residents, her appetite returned, and she gradually regained all of the weight she had lost and more. Most importantly, she seems comfortable, secure, and well cared for. I am extremely grateful to Ayres Residential and would recommend their homes without hesitation.

My partner has been living at Ayres for six months. She has received the highest level of care and support from the caregivers at Ayres. I am so thankful that she is there.

Could not be happier with the decision to move our 98 year old mom to this wonderful shared home. She’s thriving, the physical space is top notch and the staff from the owners on down are truly angels.
