What a great experience I had while visiting The Commons. The staff are so inviting and friendly. The community made me feel like I was a part of the family. The Residents are so active, they have activities everyday. Kevan the Executive Director is so supportive and available for questions and concerns. The Sales and Marketing Team, Samantha and Jorge gave the best tour of the facility. They answered every question I had. The front desk concierge greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcomed. The dining room was beautifully decorated and the food was absolutely delicious. Just an overall great experience and I would recommend anyone that’s looking to place their love one in a loving and family type setting. The Commons of Woodland Hills is the best place.

I came to tour The Commons with Julie Sagal to explore options for my grandparents. We sat out at the beautiful patio area (pictured) to discuss my family’s needs. I also got a sneak peek of some of the meals the residents were enjoying and the food looked delicious! Walking into the lobby I noticed this unique piece of art (pictured). Julie told me the story behind this piece of art and it’s worth sharing: During the peak of covid when residents couldn’t socialize, they would come down a couple at a time and draw/paint on this huge canvas. Each resident participated and they ended up creating this piece of art that is displayed in the lobby. This story was so heartwarming and I think it’s a great art piece to display! The tour was great and Julie was very helpful! Overall, I had a great experience and look forward to working with them in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for senior living.

I have to say that the Commons has impressed me tremendously. My mother has always been particular about all affairs of her life and at 87 that has not changed. Naturally I was concerned about possible issues with her accepting things once we arrived. I was pleased to see The Commons was a well maintained and clean facility. Jorge and Samantha (our liaisons) met us at the door. As soon as we walked in Mother was greeted by Alma their friendly receptionist. I asked to meet the Executive staff to explain my mothers needs and to see how Mother liked them. Vanessa the Business Office Director and Kevan the Executive Director were so kind and down to earth they eased mothers usual defensive posture right away. Well, she said yes to The Commons! Thank you so much Commons staff! Im grateful and appreciative of your making what could have been a difficult transition into a smooth and pleasant one!

My wife was a resident of The Commons at Woodland Hills for a little over two years. She was well cared for and treated with compassion and kindness. The professional staff was extraordinary. Tommie, Juan, Sofiya and Vanessa set a gold standard. My wife loved the staff and they loved her in return!

Finding a place for my grandmother was really stressful. I didn’t know where to start or who to speak to. Then, I was introduced to The Commons. Their entire staff was so welcoming, understanding, and knowledgeable. They really care about what they are doing. This really put my mind at ease. Julie got me in for a tour same day and even on a weekend! She was warm and quick to respond to the many questions I had. From the staff to the community itself, The Commons is amazing and I highly recommend it!
