Kevin Morales. Sales Counselor, provided my 2 daughters & me with a comprehensive tour. Pros:The public areas are very welcoming. We love all the greenery & the interior walking path. The views from the main dining room are especially nice. Staff is friendly and attentive. Excellent variety of activities & entertainment/posted at the beginning of each month. Outdoor pool. Fair pricing. Outstanding food, offering many choices, & good service. Cons: Accommodations are nice but dated. Outdated shower, 1unit washer dryer, no ceiling lighting. However, what the Village at Northridge lacks in more modern amenities is made up for with their incredible employees. There is a feel good quality throughout.
My visit to the Village in Northridge was a pure delight. It felt like an early Valentine’s gift. The physical setting is tastefully designed and decorated. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The luncheon experience with a resident was delicious and I gained a lot of insight from her personal experience. When I’m ready to make a move, this will be at the top of my list. Thanks to all who were so welcoming.
I was very impressed with the apartments I saw. I could easily see myself living there. The lunch I enjoyed was restaurant quality for taste and presentation. The list of activities was inviting. I would have enjoyed seeing a bit more liveliness in the decor of the common areas. I am seriously considering a move to the Village in the spring .
My husband and I are researching senior retirement places. The first place we visited was The Village at NorthRidge. We were greeted by Kevin who took us on a tour and introduced us to some of the staff. We found everyone extremely friendly. When we returned to see other apartments, we were invited to dinner with two other resident couples. We were told that the meals were 5 star . . . right . . . I hoped I could have given them 6 stars! The Village and its amentities were said to resemble a cruise ship, and they were right. We are truly looking forward to residing there!
My husband and I moved into The Village at Northridge back in July of this year. We originally didn’t want to move into an assisted living but when we spoke to Mary Rose and she seems knowledgeable and kind, we decided it’s time to come and it has been the best decision we made. Mary Rose is so helpful and she has been such a delight and we feel so comfortable speaking with her. She has been nothing but helpful before and after we moved into the Village at Northridge. The caregivers all have been exceptional and they provide us with such great care. The meals are all delicious. We will recommend the Village at Northridge to anyone who needs assisted living and speak with Mary Rose because she made it easy for us to make the decision to move in. We have made some new friends in the community that keeps us busy with playing games and going to the shows. Everyone has been wonderful and we love it here.
