I am a CNA/CHHA and I have worked at quite a few assisted living facilities both private and county. I have a client who just recently moved here and I can say Calligraphy lives up to the quality of services it advertises. The place is kept immaculately, the Concierge is top notch in their attention to the residents. Everyone on staff is effortlessly professional and full of kindness. The Med Techs, Caregiver's and Dining staff excellent as well. I would recommend this place to others and my own family member. 10 out of 10 on my list.
Calligraphy is fabulous and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a residence for themselves or their loved one for so many reasons. The staff is so caring and attentive; the residents are friendly, intelligent and engaged; the food is outstanding and the common areas feel like those of a luxury cruise ship. Calligraphy is located just steps away from great shopping, theaters and UCLA hospital. A vibrant, beautiful and comfortable home in the center of Westwood Village.
I come to Calligraphy once and sometimes twice a week to teach classes about meaningful films and other topics to Calligraphy residents. They are so bright, involved and welcoming, that it gives me enormous pleasure! I sense their joy at living in a beautiful, well-run environment with a warm, sensitive staff and stimulating activities. Bravo to Calligraphy for offering such a terrific environment for seniors!
This review is truly overdue. My uncle has been at Calligraphy for over a year now and we are so grateful for the excellent care he receives. The staff is always so attentive, the guest suites are immaculate, and the food is so delicious! I am so happy our family found a place for him to call home and a community to thrive in throughout his retirement. Thank you all for taking such great care of him!
I've had the pleasure of visiting Calligraphy Westwood on several occasions. I am always amazed at how happy the staff and residents appear to be each time I visit. I have worked in the Assisted Living and Memory Care field for 23 years and know how difficult it is to manage a community this size. Farid and Stephanie, the Executive Directors are remarkable in their approach to both the staff and residents. They're willing to go the extra mile to make sure that the residents are comfortable and receive impeccable service. This is truly a world class community! I run a community in the West Hollywood area and feel incredibly comfortable recommending anyone to Calligraphy Westwood, whether it be independent, or for those who need more care including memory care. Calligraphy is beautifully appointed with everything that you could possibly want in a community. I would move in there myself!
