My father lived at Heritage Pointe until just short of his hundredth birthday. He was glad he had a home with people who were age and ability similar.. he thought the food was good (not what my mother made but still good) and he found friends and good socialization there. He wasn’t in to the Jewish services or programs but that was the way he lived for the preceding 50 years. He liked the activities and the transportation. It was convient to visit Highly recommended.
Heritage Pointe is truly top level, A+ community for seniors. The facility is beautiful and modern with wonderful positive energy, the people who work there are all so friendly and helpful, the activities and entertainment are top-notch, and there is a warmth and “homeyness” that you just can’t find at so many of the other residences of this type. It is a real community filled with spirit and heart. I love Heritage Pointe!
I felt I should do 2 month update, after we mom moved cross country where she was living independently for 26 years after my dad passed. Ellie’s move into Heritage Point was made possible with a lot of hard work from Georgianna Mender and Lorena Arriage and the entire maintenance staff who treat the residents like family! I visit often, I swim in the pool, I accompanied my mom on a recent Beach BBQ outing it was a blast. I see my mom thriving, happy, laughing at happy hour ! It’s not her end but her beginning! It’s important mom is safe and well taken care she definitely is . I also can depend on Heather to help arrange her doctor appointments and health care she is wonderful ! Mom has an amazing doctor Mohamed Al-Sedek she adores he comes to her room at Heritage Pointe to see her. My mom is never in her room, she is racing around HP even going to the gym for the first time, playing bingo watching shows she has more of a social life than I do! As you can probably tell I have a very close relationship with my mom, we are best of friends, we talk about everything! When she said she is happy to be here … I knew I made the best move for her, I wish only from being there so often loved ones don’t wait so long this will give you and your family more independence. More thanks… Beth Slavin Happy Hour is a blast 💥! You’re a genius! Myra for the great activities! Marla’s Boutique has the best selection of jewelry, handbags and accessories! My mom will have lived at Heritage Pointe for 8 years now. She started in Assisted Living and has transitioned to Memory Care. The staff, many of whom have been there for many years, are all caring, professional and attentive. Erin Palposi, the Executive Director, has helped us through our transitions and is a kind and caring professional. My mom loves Heritage Pointe, and we feel grateful that she’s so well taken care of. Heritage Pointe welcomes those of all faiths, but they do have a synagogue in the building and a wonderful Rabbi.
