Atria Newport Beach – Exceptional Care and Compassion My dear friend of 55 years moved into Atria Newport Beach about two years ago, and I can say without hesitation that the care she has received has been nothing short of superb. From day one, the administration and staff have gone above and beyond to ensure she is not only well cared for, but also truly happy. The facility itself is absolutely beautiful, but what makes Atria exceptional is the people. Every member of the staff knows my friend by name and greets her with genuine warmth and kindness. Their attentiveness, compassion, and willingness to assist in any way have brought great peace of mind to me and immense joy to my friend. The dining experience at Atria is another highlight—it feels like dining in a gourmet restaurant. Meals are thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. They even go the extra mile to accommodate special food requests, making sure every detail is attended to with care. It’s clear that the comfort and happiness of each resident is their top priority. Recently, my friend transitioned from assisted living to memory care, and I was amazed at how smoothly the transition was handled. Atria took care of every detail—from coordinating logistics to offering emotional support—making the move seamless and stress-free for both my friend and her loved ones. The staff approached the change with professionalism and deep compassion, ensuring continuity of care and comfort every step of the way. Atria also offers a wide variety of engaging and enjoyable activities. My friend has found new ways to stay active, social, and mentally stimulated, and she loves spending time with her new friends in the memory care community. I truly cannot rate Atria Newport Beach highly enough. It is a place filled with care, dignity, and joy—an absolute blessing for our loved ones.

Atria Newport Beach is a spectacularly beautiful senior living facility. It looks more like a world class hotel, and has an amazing collection trained staff who expertly provide all the comforts of home with joy, kindness and respect. It has set a new standard in the senior living arena to a whole new level.

I could literally go on for days about how wonderful Atria Newport Beach is. This is not assisted living like your parents scared you about. Atria Newport Beach is like a full-service five-star hotel/apartment complex discreetly offering elder care support as needed, as well as amazing food and beautifully planned events and activities...but this isn't what sets it apart. This place is full of people with the most enormous hearts. My mother was incredibly challenging to care for, and every last person -- from the directors to care staff to the concierge and the restaurant servers -- interacted with her with grace and patience. This place is not a facility, it's a community that wraps its residents in love. My mom passed away a few weeks ago after spending the last year of her life here, and part of my grief is the realization that I will not get to see the folks at Atria on a regular basis anymore. Without doubt, Atria Newport Beach should be at the top of the list for anyone considering residential care options for a loved one in Orange County.

Outstanding in Every Way! When my sister needed to move to Assisted Living I toured 6 communities. When I walked into Atria Newport Beach it was like walking into a Four Seasons hotel. I thought this is a place that my sister will feel good about making her new home. But that is NOT the most important reason I have been so thrilled with Atria. It is the staff, the care & attention to detail. Getting a loved one to leave their home is a huge challenge, but my sister is SO MUCH HAPPIER since she moved to Atria. Her life is so much better & she enjoys every day... the caring staff, beautiful apartment, great restaurant, endless quality activities and outings, the camaraderie with the other residents - living at Atria has given her a much better quality of life! And, I have peace of mind knowing she is safe, well cared for AND HAPPY! So when we had another sister that needed Assisted Living there was no question as to where she should be... we moved her from another state to be at Atria Newport Beach!

My friend has lived at Atria Newport Beach for over 2 years. It began with an invitation to stay at Atria for a vacation. She loved it so much that she never went home. Atria Newport Beach is styled like a 5 star resort with service to match. Each resident is a valued guest and they are treated with respect and genuine love. The food is delicious and the activities are top notch! The Atria Asst Director came to us a few months ago to voice concerns about the difficulty my friend was having living independently and that her increased dementia issues would be better served in their Memory Care facility next door. From that moment on Atria took care of everything from medical evaluation needed to qualify for Memory Care to facilitating the move itself. While we had lunch, all of her furniture and belongings were moved to the new building and set up so that it looked as much like her old apartment as possible. Pictures were hung and toiletries were arranged just the same in the bathroom. We anticipated some agitation and defiance with the move, but they skillfully coordinated it and were prepared to distract and redirect her so that the move was comfortable. One week later she is relaxed and happy in her new environment. The high level of care and the continual group participation in activities has been extremely beneficial to lessening her anxiety and promoting a new sense of wellbeing. She started a great new chapter of her life when she moved to Atria 2 years ago and now Atria has helped her seamlessly into the next chapter of her life. Through it all they handled all the details and did not make anything our problem. It was so comforting to know that we had professionals with so much experience in handling residents’ transition to memory care facilitating her move. We can’t thank Atria Management enough for their assistance. Atria Newport Beach independent living is the perfect place to start a journey when living at home becomes an issue. And they are so prepared to assist in future transitions to Assisted Living and/or Memory Care that there is peace for family and friends knowing that their loved ones will be well taken care of for the rest of their lives.
