I’ve been at Vivante a little more than a month and let me tell you I didn’t know places like this existed. The attention to detail is incredible and the medical focus is amazing. Although not the cheapest place around it’s definitely the best. BTW Food is terrific. Thanks Vivante, Tony Bailey
We have visited twice for about two hours each time. The staff is very friendly, efficient and kind. Visitors are welcome! Our friend, who is a resident in memory care, enjoys the surroundings and participates in many activities. The residents appear happy and the facility is top notch— sparkling clean. Reminds me of a 5 star hotel.
Do not trust these people. They do not have any one that can use their mind in an executive manner. My mother with severe vascular dementia was moved there by a so called friend who tried to keep my mother away from us. Probably because we did not want her ripped off and wanted her in a facility with nurses, not assistants. As typical dementia people like this can be convinced to hate their family. First day in she fell and broke her hip and she spent 4 weeks in Hoag. No one ever called me or my brother. They never checked her entry paper work. They just wanted her money. Turns out they called her cell phone thinking it was my brother who is a Dr. in Santa Rosa, who can easily be looked up because it is on trust papers they have in file. The recording on the number called was my mother. Really????? Alot of other things are wrong including a filthy room. My brother was called on Dec. 23 to say that she had many severe problems and could not stay in her unit and had to move to memory care which we have tried to put her in Santa Rosa from the beginning. Celine was not in for more than a week and it sounded immediate. My mother has not been able to walk for a year and is incontinent. I cannot imagine why they decided she could live in a 1 bedroom unit with a kitchen she cannot use in the 1st place. This is horrendous. The front desk never checks who is going in her room. In November I visited 4 days in a row and they never carded me. We have a crooked neighbor from Bay Harbor in Long Beach that has my fathers gold watch for payment for picking up groceries when my mother was still in her house and has visited my mother many times. They may of talked her out of other family items. This previous neighbor and the person that put her in Vivante knew that she was in the hospital and chose not to call us. The previous neighbor according to a social worker from Memorial hospital in Long Beach (where my mother was two years before) took my name and my brothers name off the call list so we would not know and she could control her. This happened 2 years earlier in Long Beach. We are finally moving her to Santa Rosa. They wanted 30 days notice which I believe a call on Dec. 23 to my brother establishes the 30 day notice. I have called many times for my mother to get help operating the phone which she cannot and until last week including Christmas was totally ignored. Now they want her money again. Hoag . Dr. is weeks late returning calls to my brother, an MD and they keep delaying her leaving. They need her money I guess and want that 30 day so called notice after saying she could not stay. Only good out come is that the neighbor and person who put her in do not have any control over the moving process. Now, if they will tell us when "they decide that she can leave". They will probably let us know when it is most dangerous weather for me to drive from N. Arizona
The staff and the whole experience of Vivante is nothing short of luxury. Their community is BEAUTIFUL, state of the art, and like living at a resort. Very happy with everything Vivante has to offer my grandmother, I will definitely be visiting!
