Oakmont of Orange

As a traveling dentist, I have seen and worked in hundreds of assisted living facilities all over Orange, Los Angeles, and San Diego counties. Oakmont of Orange has always stood out as one of the nicer establishments. The center is always clean, residents seem happy, and the staff are helpful. I recently recommended one of my own patient's mother to this Oakmont and the family have been very pleased with the care that she's received. Excellent facility!

I am very concerned about the lack of safety measures at this senior living facility. My siblings currently work here and have had to deal with multiple break-ins during the overnight shifts. This is extremely troubling not only for the staff who are trying to do their jobs, but also for the residents who deserve to feel safe and protected where they live. The most recent incident was caught on camera, showing someone entering through a back area that should only be accessible to employees or individuals already familiar with the facility. This raises serious questions about how secure the property really is and whether the right precautions are in place. Staff have already voiced their safety concerns, and yet the problem continues. This is unacceptable for a place that is responsible for the well-being of vulnerable residents. Families pay significant money to leave their loved ones here, trusting that they will be cared for and kept safe. That trust is being broken. Management needs to take stronger action such as increasing security presence, improving monitoring systems, and addressing the weaknesses in access control. Everyone deserves to feel safe in a place like this. Until changes are made, I cannot recommend this facility.

Oakmont of Orange is a Safe, Engaging and Loving community. My mom has lived there for 3 years and has thrived as she meets new residents and is loved-on by staff. From the Executive Director Anna, to the newest hire, the goal of excellence is practiced by each team member! Living far away gives me great peace of mind knowing my mom is being well cared for each day!

We had a truly wonderful experience touring Oakmont of Orange Assisted Living and Memory Care. From the moment we arrived, Antonio welcomed us with warmth and provided an informative, engaging tour. He was knowledgeable, kind, and made us feel completely at home. During our visit, we enjoyed a delicious lunch, and the service was outstanding. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make the meal feel special. The food itself was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I also want to highlight the Executive Director, Anna—she is amazing! She’s so hands-on, always present, and makes it a point to personally greet and introduce herself to new visitors and residents. That personal touch truly sets the tone for the entire community. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so enjoyable. Oakmont of Orange stands out for its exceptional hospitality, professional care, and welcoming atmosphere.

My mom has been at Oakmont of Orange for a year. She has really thrived there with all of the kind and respectful care she receives every day. She recently celebrated her 90th birthday. The staff made her feel so special from morning 'til night. She said it was the best birthday she's ever had. She's made new friends, has a lovely apartment and enjoys the food and activities. The staff is top notch. Highly recommend.
