Morning Star of Pasadena

MorningStar of Pasadena has been a fantastic community for my parents to settle in to after leaving their home of 50+ years. Dimetris was instrumental in guiding us through all the steps needed to make the move happen. He made a stressful process so much easier! For my parents, the transition to a new home has been difficult at times, but the staff here has gone the extra mile to help them adjust quickly. We are so grateful for how everything has worked out!

7/30/2022 - Toured the MorningStar Senior Living with my uncle this afternoon under the director of community relationship, Sandie, who acts very professional and informative. We are all impressed with this 5-star luxurious senior living residences. Its hallway with elegant lighting looks like The Ritz-Carlton. The tendrous and tasting Grilled Mahi Mahi is one of the best - Only a highly skilled chef can make it - you can't find it easily in many restaurants. It is worth mentioning that you can clearly see the Huntington Hospital from a balcony (only 0.6 miles away from the MorningStar)

The best part about MorningStar is the people. Rhonda and Marissa thank you for the amazing love, support and care that you provided to my mom each day. The genuine care and patience is much appreciated. What you did each day at MorningStar exceeded my expectations. Kevin, Sandie and Graciela - thank you for the amazing onboarding, management services and superstar staff. Can't thank you enough! Hands down - you're the best place in Pasadena and Los Angeles.

Also ensuring me anytime I have a concern of worry . They always offered a solution . I just returned from a 4 day visit with my mom at MorningStar of Pasadena, the first since there was a change in ownership. Mom has lived at the senior living facility for almost 5 years. She’s always been happy there, and had told me things were even better under the new management. During my stay in one of their guest rooms, I had a chance to see for myself why she was so enthusiastic. After arriving I was greeted by Graciela, the longtime Business Manager who my mom always praised. The new Executive Director, Kevin, also contacted me to make sure everything was satisfactory. It was much more than that! The food was comparable to what you’d expect from a fine restaurant, no doubt a reflection of Kevin’s experience as a professional chef. The staff, which my mom always raved about, was exceptional – warm, hard-working and professional. Jose, a waiter, and Cesar, the Maintenance Director, were especially helpful. The range of activities and entertainment is truly impressive. Residents are offered everything from exercise classes and Spanish lessons to feature films and Shabbat services. The highlight was a concert by Robin and Norm, an exceptionally talented musical duo. I left MorningStar feeling that there couldn’t be a better place for my mom to live.
