My mom lived here for over a year, and our experience was nothing short of wonderful. The building is beautiful, serene, and located right next to the water — it created such a peaceful environment for her, and it was always comforting for us to visit. The staff is absolutely incredible. Every single person we met was kind, attentive, and genuinely committed to providing the best care possible. It really felt like a second home for my mom. A special shoutout to Monica, who is amazing. She was always available to take my calls, answer questions, and offer thoughtful updates. Having her there felt like having a trusted family member looking after my mom. Her warmth, knowledge, and communication made a huge difference for us. The only reason we left Raya’s Paradise was because our family relocated to New York. If not for the move, my mom would still be there today. If you're considering Raya’s Paradise, don't hesitate. You can absolutely trust them to care for your loved one with the compassion and dignity they deserve.

I was genuinely impressed by the environment, staff, and overall atmosphere. I was greeted with kindness and professionalism. The home is clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated—it truly feels more like a luxury home than a facility. The residents are well cared for and engaged in meaningful activities. What stood out most to me was the personalized attention and compassion shown by the caregivers.

My relative is in this facility. When I go visit her, I always think that when I am of the age and need care, I would absolutely love to board there, and maybe sometimes as a vacation now. They have a chef and food is amazing!!! they actually feed visitors sometimes :). Truly a 5-star place.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but I feel compelled to share our experience with Rayas in San Clemente due to how poorly we were treated—especially during such a difficult time for our family. After my mother passed away, we trusted Rayas to treat our mother with the utmost care, but what followed was incredibly upsetting and disrespectful. Not only did it take nearly two months to receive a refund for overpayment we were promised by Monica, but they also damaged our mother's ring and refused to refund or replace it. To make matters worse, they were completely unresponsive—ignoring multiple phone calls and emails over several weeks. The lack of communication, compassion, and accountability was shocking. During a time when we were grieving, the last thing we expected was to be treated with such disregard. I would not recommend this business to anyone, especially if you're looking for respectful, honest service. UPDATE: The facility's response is inaccurate and misleading and not surprising the quick response to this review despite how long it took to respond to unanswered voicemails & emails. They are fully aware that my mother's wedding band was damaged by them, as we were told by the head nurse Karla on April 16th that a caregiver had to cut it off another resident’s finger, which required medical attention and literally happened the same week my mother passed. I strongly advise looking elsewhere if you are looking for compassion. After our mother passed, we were treated with complete disregard—they refused to speak with us or offer any assistance when we reached out.
