I am incredibly grateful for Silverado Memory Care Center and the exceptional support they've provided for my mother, who has been living with dementia since my father's passing earlier this year. As a family member of a resident at Silverado Memory Care, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The facility's commitment to providing exceptional care is evident in every interaction. One example of their compassionate approach is how they manage my mother's nervousness around showering and laundry. By ensuring the same caregiver is always present during her shower times, they provide a comforting consistency. Additionally, they thoughtfully manage her anxiety about laundry by discreetly handling it while she sleeps, ensuring her clothes are back in place before she notices. The staff's ability to compassionately and skillfully redirect confused residents is truly commendable. My husband has been at Silverado for a number of months under very trying circumstances. I am impressed with their skill, their general approach and particularly the caring flexible leadership team. They go way beyond their job descriptions to back everyone up and accommodate the needs of the residents wherever possible. This is a tough business, and no one is perfect, but there is a special place in Heaven for the Leadership Team of Silverado SJC.

My wife has been in Silverodo San Juan for nearly a year. She came having to recover form a broken femur. Most of the experts gave her little chance to get out of her wheelchair. Between the caregiver and nurses and pt team she walks with the help of a walker. She interacts well with the activity team that enrich her day with “clubs” that challenge and bring smiles.

As the Administrator, Sheila Fike creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere for the entire community. Her joy and passion are contagious, and her open-door policy reflects her genuine commitment to residents, who feel free to visit her any time. She uplifts everyone around her, bringing comfort and positivity to challenging situations. For Sheila, this role is clearly more than a job—it’s her true calling. She has built a team of compassionate leaders who share her dedication to providing residents with the best quality of life possible throughout their illness. I’m so grateful for Casey Lambert, Jaclyn Vasquez, Andrea Furch, Heather Sahargun, and everyone who interacts with my mother. Because of the excellent and skilled team at Silverado, I have more peace of mind knowing my mother is receiving the very best care.
