I had a great experience taking my mother on a tour of Ivy Park in Santa Monica! My mom is not quite sure if she’s ready for assisted living yet, and the staff at Ivy Park were so kind and sympathetic to her situation, with absolutely no pressure. Amber took us on a tour where we got to see all of the resident common spaces and a beautifully appointed apartment. All the residents there seemed to be comfortable, engaged, and enjoying themselves. We even got to try the food, which was delicious! I felt like Amber cared about us as human beings and was truly listening to our feedback and my mother’s preferences for her living situation. Transitioning to assisted living is a huge and difficult choice for everyone in the family, and I really appreciated the compassion and empathy we received on our tour.
Lauren is awesome, she’s my boss lady, and always helpful and reliable. The staff here are great too… housekeeping, servers, Front desk Concierge, Maintenance team, Care Team, and the kitchen team all go above and beyond. Plus, the residents are super friendly and made me feel welcome when I started. I am satisfied to be part of this community!

I am a senior downsizing and relocation specialist with Simplify + Move LA . I have moved my own parents to senior living (my mom is at an Ivy Park also). The executive director at this community really cares about the best for his incoming senior residents. The community is conveniently located right next to a hospital and close to many Santa Monica doctors. The staff does care about making their senior clients well cared for and happy. And the executive director is quick to respond to input from family members when needed.
