Welbrook has been a wonderful home for my stepmother. After suffering the complete loss of her home and former life, we found a place that is compassionate, embracing., and very professional in Welbrook. They have made the transition to this new phase of her life nearly seamless. Our family is very satisfied in the complete care giving that Welbrook has provided. We couldn’t be happier!

I truly don’t know where our family would be without the love and kindness shown to us by Welbrook… My mother moved into Welbrook 8 months ago after suffering a bad fall at home and living with Alzheimer’s for many years that was getting more severe. As a strong, fiercely independent woman, we always knew that getting my mom to accept outside help would be particularly challenging, even impossible I thought. Prior to Welbrook, my mom would only trust me, her daughter, to manage her affairs and help with tasks such as bathing and other physical challenges. When we made the difficult to decision to move her into a facility, I worried endlessly about how her quality of life would be affected and whether she could ever learn to coexist with others in a peaceful manner. All I can say is that Welbrook’s staff is pure magic. From the diligence shown with adjusting her medications, to the small but meaningful details like advising which socks and clothes could be more comfortable, I know that each and every day they are looking out for my mom’s wellbeing. Beyond taking great care of their residents, the staff truly seems to take an interest in getting to know what makes each individual special. This is such an important part of preserving the dignity of the residents, recognizing that before this disease took hold of them, these individuals lived full lives and that those parts of them are still alive. For example, when the staff started encouraging my mom to join the group activities and common area (instead of mostly staying in her room), the beautiful soul at the front desk, Stephany, would often let my mom pull up a chair next to her and would show her pictures on Pinterest given that my mom loved design and art throughout her life. I can’t say enough about how caring and patient the whole staff has been. Recent developments that once seemed unimaginable include my mom letting the caring staff do her hair and nails, as well as saying “I love you” to the nurses who come in to care for her. I wholeheartedly recommend Welbrook and am grateful for them everyday for the crucial role they have played in helping keep my mom safe and well cared for as we manage this last precious chapter of her life.

Welbrook is a very well run facility. The residents are treated like family. The staff somehow knows just how to keep everyone happy. It is relatively new and state of the art. The employees couldn’t be nicer if they tried. I believe the management is great at keeping their employees happy, and that leads to very little turnover. I couldn’t be happier with Welbrook caring for my mom. It is a great relief knowing how well she is being treated there. Thank you all!!

I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care that my beautiful mother receives at Welbrook. From the moment we arrived, David, Valerie and the entire staff treated my mother and our family with compassion, respect, and kindness, ensuring that my mother feels comfortable every day. The facility is always clean and very well maintained, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. All of the residents appear to be happy, engaged and peaceful. The staff goes above and beyond making my family feel like my beloved mother is a top priority. Whenever I leave I know that I don’t have to worry about her which is the greatest gift that my family could ever receive. It was a hard decision to relocate my mother from another memory care out of state as change can be difficult. But Welbrook has been very good for my mother. The staff is kind and caring, they all know her by name. The activities director is great and they have activities going on all day to keep the residents engaged. It’s a clean, welcoming, well-run residence. I’m much happier knowing my mom is nearby and well cared for, and I can come visit her regularly and help her as needed.
