Brookdale Central Whittier

My experience with Brookdale Central Whittier has been extremely positive. I needed to find a loved one a place to live that offered assisted living and from the moment I had contact with Brookdale it has been wonderful. Mario was our first contact there and he listened to all our needs and concerns. We were invited and offered a tour the next day and ended up signing up right then and there. The place is easy to access, and the front office is very friendly. They decorate the place, so it makes everyone feel like home and the residents were very friendly. Our lunch was delicious, and Mario was very attentive with my aunt and even offered recommendations. The registration/sign up process went smooth, and all Brookdale Central staff was knowledgeable of the process and offered their assistance evert step of the way. Within three days, my aunt was already living there. The whole facility is clean, and everyone is so attentive I can’t express this enough. The staff there, including the residents have been so welcoming and friendly. Brookdale Central Whittier connected by aunt with a lovely representative from SCAN- Cynthia V. Cynthia came to my home prior to my aunt moving in and assisted us with re-enrolling her into SCAN and offered a wonderful program called Embrace, which brings her whole health care team to the facility so that the resident can feel more comfortable and taken care of. I have been impressed with them and can tell the strong collaboration Brookdale, SCAN and their residents. I toured Brookdale of Central Whittier due to their high level of care to meet my family member’s care needs. Jennifer did an excellent job explaining all the care services they provide, and was great in following up after the tour. Chantel went above and beyond to check on my family member in rehab, and even brought him one of his favorite meals. The staff at Brookdale of Central Whittier are top notch, and I would highly recommend them for their customer service they provided my family member, and praise them for their attention to detail. If you are looking for a community to consider for your loved one, do not hesitate to see what they have to offer.

Brookdale Central Whittier has an exceptional staff. They are caring, considerate, and loving to their residents. As a family member of a resident I feel welcome when I visit and I know my family member is well taken care of. Many times, I’ve seen the staff go above and beyond their job description to care for their residents. Thank you staff.

Recently, my 90 year old mother experienced a severe decline in her ability to care for herself. For safety, we had to make an immediate decision to place her in a facility. After visiting several assisted living facilities, we were drawn to Brookdale due to the welcoming staff, beautiful environment, and friendly residents. Nu was especially helpful in expediting the process. Since mom has been a resident there, the staff has been extremely attentive to her needs.

Brookdale is a caring, assisted living facility. I had to move in my wheel chair bound sister w limited prep time. Sanjay and staff helped me move her in as quickly as possible. My sister likes her new Brookdale home. Staff is very attentive. I highly recommend Brookdale.
