2215 East Egbert Street, Brighton, CO 80601
Many residents and families feel positive about Brookdale Brighton, highlighting friendly and caring staff, clean and attractive facilities, and engaging activities. Several reviews mention that staff are respectful, kind, and go above and beyond to meet residents' needs, especially during difficult times like hospice care. The community offers a welcoming atmosphere that feels like family and provides personalized care, helping residents stay independent and active with plenty of social events and hobbies.
However, there are also concerns raised in reviews. A former nursing director reported unsafe medical practices, including staff reusing needles and delays in giving necessary medications. They also mentioned under-staffing, poor training, and lower quality in food, activities, and exercise programs compared to what was advertised. Another review criticized the community for staff turnover, uncleanliness (such as dirty carpets and dusty air filters), and poor maintenance of apartments and common areas. This reviewer also expressed frustration over paying for services that are not delivered.
Overall, while many residents and their families praise the caring staff and pleasant environment, some reviews point out serious issues like staffing shortages, safety concerns, and maintenance problems. The community’s website emphasizes their focus on personalized care, engaging activities, good dining options, and safety, but these reviews show that experiences can vary widely. For those considering Brookdale Brighton, it may be helpful to visit in person and see the community firsthand to ensure it meets your expectations.

The carestaff has so much compassion for the residents and treats them with the same love they give their own family.
The staff is great and the maintenance guy is WONDERFUL. He’s always willing to help and the resident are amazing
Love working with all staff and all residence Brookdale is a great senior assisted living for all family
They are falling way behind from what we were told when we signed up for our loved one !! They got rid of the nurse and then the director of the facility and then the cook . They are very short handed and always told we are hiring next couple of days . Everyone ( tenant's and guest) has told the administration how bad the food is burns everything and lumps in oatmeal , watered down coffee its bad for all of them . Who ever is cooking isn't a cook or chef . They say they are working on it. We get charged for cleaning their apartment and I know the last 2 months there has been nothing done. Also with the basics of the facility carpets are dirty and dusty . Air filters in the units haven't been cleaned or changed . These iteams should not be taken lightly we are paying a very generous amount for them to be taken care of properly. For reasons this is my opinion!!
Love the residents at the facility and the staff is great. The maintenance guy Jim Is great and when you let him know something needs fixed he is on it and he maintains the building wonderfully.
