I visited Brookdale the day before Thanksgiving. I’m old enough to start looking for a place for myself where I might feel welcome, make friends in my age group, and enjoy a variety of activities. Barbie Taylor was kind enough spend two hours w me and showed me around the facility while introducing me to many of the staff and residents. She seemed to know everyone’s name! All the staff were friendly, but even more, all the residents were friendly and most paused to at least say hi. I’m not ready to move yet, but, when it is time, I would certainly move to brook day in Wilsonville!
Toured here with my elderly father when looking for independent living options for him. We were both very impressed with the facility, which was clean, warm and comfortable. Everyone, including residents and staff, were kind and friendly, and the residents we spoke with were very happy living at Brookdale Wilsonville. We visited during lunch hour so were able to sample the food, which was delicious and filling. When the time comes, Brookdale Wilsonville is definitely at the top of our list!
We moved my mom and stepdad into Brookdale in Wilsonville about four months ago. It was a huge change for them but the caring staff at Brookdale helped the transition every step of the way. They are patient and kind to the residents, the entire facility is bright and cheerful, clean and the residents are lovely people . There is a calendar of planned fun events going on all of the time. Transportation to local stores, outings and more. The food… it is outstanding, my folks love going into the dining room, the social aspects have been wonderful and uplifting for them. I would not hesitate to recommend living here ! I have great security knowing my folks live here in this lovely assisted living community!! Shelley Hanlin
We recently toured this facility on a search for independent living for my parent. The team was welcoming and warm. These decisions to move are hard and we felt welcome and heard. We also enjoyed lunch there and the food was delicious. The facility is vibrant and the staff seem to care about the residents as individuals. Great experience.
My experience with Brookdale in Wilsonville was more from the perspective of my friend, Marian, who had a warm experience at this facility. We met with Andi, who was so kind and patient in introducing the facility to Marian, and explaining activities, expenses, billing, etc. Marian was a sharp woman who knew what she wanted and the things she needed. She had a beautiful room, and the other residents were so friendly. Andi was very attentive towards Marian’s insecurities, and did what she could to alleviate any worries. Sadly, Marian passed away shortly after moving in. However, she was excited to be living there, and having the companionship that she lacked living alone. I toured the facility and for all that I saw, and experienced, I felt like this would be a place I would want to move into as a senior who might be alone, as Marian was. Thank you Andi, for all that you did.
