Facilities like senior living communities exist to support our loved ones when they reach a stage in life where they need assistance maintaining independence and quality of life. Our loved ones work hard their entire lives and deserve care, dignity, and the services they are promised and pay for. Unfortunately, my experience with The Brookdale Foundation House reflects a very different reality. In my view, the organization prioritizes financial performance above resident well-being. Decisions appear driven by the bottom line rather than by the quality of care, compassion, or respect our loved ones deserve. For the final years of my father-in-law’s life, he consistently expressed concern that senior management did not care about the residents and that the facility was steadily declining. These concerns persisted until the day he passed away. After his passing—following more than eight years as a resident—not a single member of the senior management team reached out to our family to offer condolences. Instead, the only communication we received focused on financial matters. Even after repeated escalations over several months, the emphasis remained on how much money could be collected from a deceased resident, rather than on empathy, accountability, or basic human decency. Based on this experience, I strongly urge families to conduct thorough research before entrusting a loved one to any senior living facility. I would also strongly recommend against placing a loved one at The Brookdale Foundation House. In my opinion, the organization does not demonstrate a genuine commitment to resident well-being or quality of life. Families deserve transparency, compassion, and care—especially during the most vulnerable stages of life. This facility failed to meet those expectations.
VENDORS WHATCH OUT! They hired our small family owned company and took a complete advantage of us! They called and scheduled our service to check and fix their 10 washers and dryers but never paid a dime for our inspection and repair though were pretty much willing to fix it. I guess they wanted us to do it for free. Their front desk told us they won't accept an invoice from us via email but ONLY BY FAX. It's 2025 and seems like these folks are still stuck in 1900s... We have been contacting them for almost 6 months since our initial appointment and they are still ghosting us.
Nestled within a serene and beautifully landscaped setting, this stunning senior living facility offers an exquisite lifestyle where comfort meets culture and culinary artistry. Designed to elevate everyday living, it invites residents to savor gourmet meals prepared by talented chefs who celebrate both classic flavors and contemporary cuisine. The state-of-the-art kitchen is more than a place to dine—it’s a space of creativity and connection, where residents can participate in cooking classes that ignite their passion for food and foster a vibrant community spirit. Beyond the culinary delights, the facility dazzles with a rich calendar of entertainment options, ranging from live music performances and theatrical productions to engaging workshops and social events. Each activity is thoughtfully curated to inspire joy, engagement, and meaningful interaction, ensuring that every day is filled with warmth, laughter, and shared experiences. This harmonious blend of fine dining and dynamic entertainment creates a truly enriching environment, where seniors can thrive socially, intellectually, and gastronomically, embracing each moment with enthusiasm and elegance. This is waiting for you and more at Brookdale Foundation House!!
We looked at over 20+ facilities before going with Brookdale Foundation House. We moved our mother into Memory care and it has been a great experience from the very beginning. We meet with Katie (sales/marketing) who gave us a tour and answered all of our questions. Katie went above and beyond to make the transition smooth and stress free. It’s has been a couple months since our mother has been at Brookdale and we visit often. The nurses, activities coordinator, CNA’s, and front desk personnel have continued to be amazing. If you are reading this review, you are looking to place your loved one in a caring facility. Reach out to Katie, take a tour and feel confident that this staff is AMAZING!! Thanks Katie! The Chatterson Family.
Very disappointed in Brookdale foundation house. My father lived at Brookdale foundation house for about 8 years. My father had been telling me how much it had gone down hill. I WISH I would have listened to him before he past away 2 months ago 😔. My experience has been very upsetting and disappointing through all of this. Management is only interested in the money and filling the building at all cost. Would not recommend putting your loved ones in this facility.
